I’m Lwazi Mjuba, a professional photographer with a Diploma in Commercial Photography. I was born and raised in the vibrant township of Hammarsdale, South Africa — a place that continues to inspire my artistic voice and storytelling approach..
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with various companies across the industry, building a strong and versatile portfolio that includes commercial, portrait, and lifestyle photography. Alongside my work behind the lens, I’ve also served as a tutor, sharing my knowledge and passion with aspiring creatives. One of the proudest moments of my journey so far was being nominated for Best Photographer at the Ghana Merit Awards 2025 — a recognition that reminded me of the power and reach of honest storytelling through images.
I believe photography is a universal language — one that goes beyond borders, cultures, and spoken words. For me, art is deeply personal. Every image holds a different meaning depending on who’s looking at it, and that’s the beauty of it. This belief shapes how I approach every project, always reminding me that there’s no one right way to connect with a photograph. That’s where the true magic lies.
